About me
Born into a very expressive Lebanese family and raised in Accra, Ghana, where I was exposed to diverse cultures, my art connects me to my heritage and my family. Growing up, I could watch for hours as my older sister painted her landscapes and still lifes with her oils; my uncle amused us all with his witty yet telling illustrations and caricatures. The fact that their works were at once uniquely personal yet accessible to everyone, made me realize that there is so much power in the silent communication of art.
In 2000, I graduated from Notre Dame University in Louaize, Lebanon with a BA in Graphic Design. Seeking the cosmopolitan environment in which I grew up, I’m currently living in Washington DC. I've explored the possibilities of design in a number of industries, including Information Technology (IT), publishing and non-profit management. I am currently the Art Director for the American Chiropractic Association; I also take on special projects.
Just as I revere art that offers a glimpse inside the artist, I enjoy working with my clients to ensure that the works they commission from me are expressions of their views, their vision, and their essence.
I hope you enjoy browsing my work.
